The Signal Park SP-143 ramp detector use for parking guidance system is composed of two passing detectors linked together and mounted on a busbar rail. One detector is called MASTER, and is equipped with two reed relays and a serial connector for the set-up the other, and its called slave, and has neither relay nor serial connector.

The parking detection of vehicles is ultrasonic, with 2 LED colors definitions, normal operating mode for Green LED’s are on when no vehicle is under the detector “free” condition. Yellow LED is on when one or both relays are activated Master detector only and Red LED is on when a vehicle is detected “busy” condition.

Relay outputs

The master detector is equipped with two reed relays, which are activated according to the selected logical operating mode. Potential-free contacts are available on the female M8 3 p. connector. In case of an inductive load relay coil, a protecting diode should be installed freewheel diode. Maximum contact load for each contact is 50V / 100mA.

Set-up operating mode

  • Green LED’s are blinking on the MASTER detector during set-up
  • Yellow LED turns on during height set-up

Installation

  • Fitting and installing the busbar rail in a parallel to the ground and not to the ceiling
  • If the ceiling is in a parallel to the ground, then the busbar rail can be fixed directly to it

Power supply

  • Connect the busbar rail to a 230VAC, 50Hz main supply.
  • Power consumption is about 8VA
